Assistant Principal of Student Affairs, Cristo Rey Boston High School
What I enjoy most about my role is that, in such a small school environment, I have the unique opportunity to truly get to know each student on a deeper, more personal level. The close-knit nature of our school allows me to form meaningful connections with students, understand their individual needs, and support them in ways that go beyond academics. It’s incredibly fulfilling to see their growth not just as learners, but as individuals, and to play a part in helping them navigate and overcome the personal and educational challenges they face. This level of connection and impact is something that I find truly rewarding.
I’ve always valued the impact of Catholic education, having attended Catholic schools throughout my life. After working as a social worker for the state, I transitioned into education, recognizing the importance of environments that nurture students academically, morally, and spiritually. Now, as both an educator and a parent, this belief has deepened even further. I’m not only proud to have a child attending Saint John Paul Catholic Academy - Lower Mills, but I’m also a parent of a Cristo Rey student. It’s a privilege to contribute to and witness the positive effects of Catholic education on both a personal and professional level.
